Resolution Capital launches Global Property Securities UCITS Fund

Resolution Capital Limited is pleased to announce that it has launched the Resolution Capital Global Property Securities CCF (Fund)1. The Fund is an Irish domiciled Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS), which offers our high conviction Global Property Securities Strategy. The UCITS structure is globally recognised, primarily due to its regulated status and its strong focus on investor protection.

The Fund has been launched in response to increased investor interest and has been seeded with approximately US$75 million from offshore institutional investors. The Fund is now available to investors in the UK and the Netherlands, with plans to expand into other jurisdictions in Europe, Canada and parts of Asia.

The Fund is structured as a Common Contractual Fund (CCF) which is a tax transparent structure that can deliver tax efficiencies for institutional investors, particularly tax exempt investors, in select jurisdictions.

Resolution Capital’s award-winning investment team has a successful long-term track record in managing portfolios of listed property securities dating back to 1995. The 11-strong investment team has significant experience managing through various property cycles.  The Resolution Capital Global Property Securities Strategy will reach its 9 year track record in end December 2015 and as at 31 October 2015 has outperformed the benchmark2 by 4.8% p.a. since its inception3.
